Martigny โ€“ Leuk Wine Trail

Description

Opened in spring 2007, the wine trail is an ideal way to discover the Valais and birthplace of some delightfully palatable regional wines.
Between Martigny and Leuk the "Chemin du vignobles" wine trail is divided into various legs, where the freshness of nature blends with the blissful enjoyment of Valais wines. The wine trail consists of three parallel running yet independent routes, suitable for practically every means of transport:

  • The 66-kilometer long trail at an altitude of 450 up to 800 meters, consisting largely of natural paths, is sun-spoilt around 2000 hours a year.
  • The bicycle path has a length of 83 km and connects to the Cycling in Switzerland network of cycling trails.
  • The route was specifically chosen so that it could easily be navigated by buses - and is signposted all the way.
