At 1300-meter altitude, the Villars-sur-Ollon winter resort lies on a high plateau at the heart of the Vaud Alps. And this popular toboggan piste runs straight through the middle of this winter wonderland.

Tobogganists arrive at the "Col de Soud" mid station by cog railway, so they can gather strength in preparation for the exciting downhill dash. Actual starting point for this run is reached following a short march, but the ride down with views of enchanting woods and snow-piled slopes makes every minute of the day worthwhile.
