Kronberg – Mountain and valley in Appenzellerland

Description

The cable car runs from the Jakobsbad station to the vantage point with its mountain guesthouse. Märliwelt, Zipline-Park and Bobbahn are just as famous as the view at the top, from the Hoher Kasten over the Säntis to the Lütispitz and across to the foothills of the Churfirsten range.
Here you enjoy sweeping views from the Hohen Kasten above Säntis to the Lütispitz and across to the foothills of the Churfirsten range.

Leisurely tours include the 500m, pram-friendly summit walk and the ridge hike past St. James's chapel to the Scheidegg mountain guesthouse – as well as the less strenuous flower-rich trail down to the Schwägalp.

And additional adventure with the bob run or hanging loose (Tarzan style ) as you swing from tree to tree in the popular Zipline park. The enigma trail and the Märliwelt by the valley station make the Kronberg an attractive destination for families and groups.
