Description

690,000 visitors, 11,000 reporters and broadcasters from 87 countries, 260 exhibitors and 135 launches of new vehicles: the Geneva International Motor Show is one of the most important in the world.
Held at the beginning of March every year at the Palexpo trade fair complex, it offers a packed programme of events and attractions – fascinating not only for petrolheads. Over a vast exhibition area (more than 120,000 square metres), manufacturers present hundreds of new models and all the latest technology, turning Geneva into the capital of the automotive world. The first “Swiss National Automobile and Cycle Exhibition” was held in 1905 at the Palais du Conseil Général on the Boulevard Georges-Favon. The Geneva International Motor Show is the only international motor show recognised by the International Organisation of Automobile Constructors (OICA) that takes place every year in Europe and is a member of the «Top 5 » worldwide.
