Magnificent lakes and mountain scenery form the backdrop as you cycle from Zug to Schwyz, past the famous Nature Reserve and Wildlife Park Goldau. After that, the Rigi and Mythen mountains loom into view, towering over Lake Lauerz. The route then presses on into the heart of Switzerland, specifically to Schwyz – guardian of the Federal Charter, one of the country’s earliest constitutional documents.
