Since 1996 the Fishing Museum of the Canton of Glarus has been housed a section of the cantonal fish breeding facility.

It displays the old fishing utensils of professional and hobby anglers. A more ideal venue could hardly be found: in the midst of running as well as stagnant water, surrounded by the fabulous natural landscape of the Mettlenseeli, a small lake in the Netstal.
